There is something truly miraculous about space. There is just so much of it, and more importantly so much we just don't understand. It's so mindblowingly vast that we will probably never explore all of it. It's so huge that even our furthest traveled spaceship, out billions of lightyears, has barely left our front yard.

But still we try. We send things off into what can only ever be unknown. Why? Because space is awesome.
